Sarah Du Sarah Du is the Director of intellectual property Service Division in Ministry Of Information Industry Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center.
Many years experience of in-depth analysis of intellectual property rights and consulting. She is the member of “Innovative & IPR Community”, China Semiconductor Industry Association, and take the lead of the IPR group in the China RFID Standard Working Group.
Matthias Theuergarten Matthias Theuergarten is directing the Shanghai office of IBB I&C Technology, a Sino-German System Integration company founded in 2000. Before taking over the Shanghai office he worked in Beijing and Essen (Germany).
After more than 3 years working with IBB in China he knows about the difficulties foreign companies have in China and is successfully providing solutions to his European especially German client base.
Dr. Oliver Maaz Dr. Oliver Maaz is a foreign registered lawyer and since several years located at the Shanghai office of Rödl & Partner within the Asia-Pacific division. He is the head of IP/IT Asia and his practicing areas encompass the management, registration and enforcement of IP-Rights including domain name and copyright disputes as well as the area of information technology including telecommunication, internet services and data security. An increasing part of his practice also relates to transaction consultancy such as M&A as well as foreign investment consultancy such as establishing companies in the production, trading and service sector and international contract drafting. Before Mr. Maaz was active over 7 years in different industries in Germany after its vocational training and gained afterwards as an attorney-at-law in Germany special experiences in software projects and took over the legal representation in numerous litigation cases before German courts. He is an author of numerous publications in terms of Chinese law.
